Gladys & Henry Crown Legacy Society, named in honor of our founders, recognizes all who contribute through their estate plan or create life income gifts securing the mission of Crown Center. Our mission is to provide affordable, high-quality living and services that empower residents to flourish independently for future generations.

An endowed position or program may be established with a legacy gift provided the required minimum amount of $25,000 is pledged. Recognition of an endowed position, program, or scholarship will commence upon completion of legacy gift pledge agreement.

Estate plans include bequests in wills or trusts; beneficiary designations in life insurance policies, IRAs, or annuities; or payable on death (POD) or transfer on death (TOD) designations.

Life income gifts include charitable gifts that pay income to you for life, with the remainder ultimately benefiting Crown Center (charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, pooled fund), or a charitable gift of a personal residence or farm with a retained life estate. Also included are charitable lead trusts, which pay income to Crown for a term of years, with the remainder returned to you or your designee(s).

You may be a LISTED or UNLISTED member of the Gladys & Henry Crown Legacy Society. The names of LISTED members appear in Crown Center publications or public displays about the Gladys & Henry Crown Legacy Society. The names of UNLISTED members do not appear.

All members receive Gladys & Henry Crown Legacy Society, mailings and invitations to Gladys & Henry Crown Legacy events. There are no ongoing fees for membership in the Gladys and Henry Crown Legacy Society.
